A fatal rollover crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway caused a temporary shutdown of southbound lanes on Chicago’s South Side early Saturday morning. According to the Illinois State Police, the crash occurred around 12:57 a.m. near 91st Street on the southbound side of the expressway. Authorities said multiple vehicles were involved in the incident, which resulted in one fatality and left at least three other individuals injured.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the injured victims to a nearby hospital for treatment. Due to the severity of the crash and ongoing investigation, all southbound lanes were temporarily closed as officials worked to clear the wreckage and assess the situation.
