1 Killed in Crash on Chinatown Feeder Ramp

A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Chinatown feeder ramp early Tuesday morning, according to Illinois State Police. The crash happened at about 1:17 a.m. on the ramp from northbound Interstate 55.

Police said the vehicle struck a guardrail and a light pole before overturning. The driver was taken to a hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. No other people were inside the vehicle, and no additional injuries were reported.
