First and foremost, listen to your relative or your loved one. Find out how they feel about their care. Find out if they’re happy, unhappy, satisfied, or unsatisfied. Look around the home. See what’s going on with regard to other residents of the home. Also, most importantly, if you see visible evidence of abuse or neglect, whether it be pressure sores, bruising, anything like that, take photographs. Take photographs on your cell phone. Don’t tell anybody, but contact a lawyer at Phillips Law Offices so we can discuss whether or not the evidence and the facts show evidence of abuse or neglect.
