Six people were transported to area hospitals after a multi-vehicle crash on Chicago’s South Side Sunday evening, according to the Chicago Fire Department. The collision occurred near the intersection of West 87th Street and South Western Avenue and involved five vehicles.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and treated multiple injured individuals. Officials reported that one person sustained critical injuries, while two others were listed in serious condition. Three additional victims suffered less severe injuries and were reported to be in good condition.
